Biography

Jane Young is a Partner in the Colorado office of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter.  She has over twenty years of experience representing insurers and third-party administrators in complex coverage and bad faith disputes around the country.  Her work involves all types of insurance policies, first and third party coverages, including commercial general liability, construction, subcontractor default, environmental, automobile, property, directors and officers, etc.   She assists insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and insurance agencies in assessing coverage under policies and evaluating exposure, representing her clients in the courts and alternative dispute resolution proceedings - advocating for their positions with judges, mediators and insureds.  Ms. Young has tried cases in state and federal courts and also argued in the Colorado appellate courts and Tenth Circuit.
