Allison J. Davis serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the State of New Jersey, Department of Human Services (DHS), and is responsible for its cybersecurity operations and organizational security risk management. The DHS is the largest state agency in New Jersey, with eight (8) Divisions, and its programs and IT operations serve about 1.5 million New Jerseyans, or about one of every six state residents. The DHS seeks to modernize and provide innovative solutions to enhance its security and IT infrastructure to meet consumer demands for customer efficiency, privacy and protection. In collaboration with the NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness (OHSP) and the New Jersey Office of Information Technology (OIT), DHS supports a centralized enterprise security risk management framework consistent with state & national cybersecurity and privacy priorities. Ms. Davis has been with the DHS for over 16 years and has proven successful leadership in business practice, operational and organizational re-engineering and improvement efforts.
