Claire Boxer

Biography

Claire Boxer, A.R.M., is Vice President, Claims, of Robertson Taylor International Insurance Brokers in Woodland Hills, California..  She has in-depth experience and knowledge of coverage, claims and litigation for commercial, personal, and entertainment-related risks.  She has handled claims management, private settlements, denials of coverage, and training.

Claire was previously a Vice President and Risk Manager for 10 years with a privately-owned music company with locations in the United States and Canada.  During her time there, she purchased and managed property and casualty and production insurance, investigated and settled bodily injury claims within self-insured retention, established claim reserves, and hired outside defense counsel.  She closely managed all civil litigation matters, handled mediations, and appeared in Small Claims Court.  She assisted in the training of managers and in-house security guards, especially for new venues.  She established and managed a self-insured workers' compensation program with quarterly claim reviews.  She also handled the ongoing loss control and safety for employees and guests and reviewed and revised contracts, including talent and vendor contracts and leases.  In addition, she worked on insurance, contracts, and certificates for the company-owned charitable foundation.

Claire graduated with a B.A. in English from UCLA.
