David Marino

Biography

David Marino is the US Construction Industry Leader for Marsh. He is responsible for strategy, leadership and growth of the Construction Practice, including the timely delivery of resources and services to ensure high client satisfaction. 

David provides support to 600 Marsh colleagues who serve more than 1,200 construction clients across the US.

David enjoys 25+ years of construction industry experience.  Prior to joining Marsh, he held a number of regional and national leadership roles in construction for a global broker and was formerly president of Allied North America Insurance Brokerage of New York, a privately held national insurance brokerage dedicated to construction.
 
David brings significant experience designing, developing, and delivering innovative risk management programs and solutions for firms engaged in infrastructure, general building and specialty contracting.  During his career, David has designed programs for complex infrastructure, including alternative project delivery projects and Public Private Partnerships (PPP), advised clients during merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, developed solutions for controlled insurance programs, and managed challenging claims to satisfactory outcomes.

David is based in New York and is a frequent speaker at various industry risk management conferences and forums.

BBA, cum laude - St. John’s University, College of Insurance with a major in property and liability insurance.
