Biography
Martha Keane is a Senior Complex Claims Director at AIG Claims in New York. She is part of AIG’s Financial Lines Coverage Group and deals with litigation brought against various AIG insurance companies involving extra-contractual disputes.
Ms. Keane is admitted to practice law in New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Washington, DC. She also is admitted to practice in the Southern District of New York as well as the United States Supreme Court.
Ms. Keane attended college at the University of the South and law school at Tulane University. Upon graduation, she worked as a trial attorney for the Federal Maritime Commission’s Bureau of Enforcement in Washington, DC. During her years with the Federal Maritime Commission, she became a Senior Trial Attorney, conducted hearings throughout the United States as a Fact Finding Officer and was the Acting Director of the Federal Maritime Commission’s New York office. She joined AIG in New York in 2006.
