Biography

Gaylee W. Gillim is general counsel and an owner of Kentucky Kingdom, LLLP, which reopened Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay in 2014.  Ms. Gillim was also general counsel and an owner of Kentucky Kingdom – The Thrill Park from 1990 until its sale to Premier Parks Inc. in 1997.  Prior to her involvement with Kentucky Kingdom, LLLP, Ms. Gillim was general counsel and an owner of Magic Springs Development Co., L.L.C., which opened Magic Springs & Crystal Falls in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2000.  After eight seasons, Magic Springs was sold to PARC Management in July, 2008. 
 
Ms. Gillim graduated from Duke University in 1975 (B.A. summa cum laude) and earned a J.D. from St. John's University in 1978. She is admitted to practice in both New York and Kentucky.  Ms. Gillim has been a member of IALDA's board of directors since 1995 and currently serves as Secretary of the organization.
