Somer Jefferiss

Biography

Somer Jefferiss’ practice is focused on guiding clients through all aspects of labor management, with a specific focus on wage and hour compliance. With over ten years of experience at Datamatics Management Services, Inc. as General Counsel and Director of Compliance, she worked closely with executives, Human Resource Professionals and management to understand and resolve everyday business hurdles.
 
Combining her knowledge of federal and local regulations with software expertise, Somer directs clients in HRIS, TLM and Payroll software configurations.  She frequently participates in and hosts training sessions and seminars throughout the country for employers, associations, universities and other professional groups on wage and hour updates and strategies.
 
Ms. Jefferiss earned her Economics degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law.  She is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the 3rd Circuit District Court and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). 
 
Currently, Ms. Jefferiss is an Implementation Consultant with Datamatics Management Services, Inc. a Kronos Company and continues to work with teams to design, improve and rollout technology solutions for wage and hour compliance.
