Robert “Bob” de Flesco is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. de Flesco devotes most of his practice to various areas of construction law, including representation of contractors and developers in construction defect claims. Mr. de Flesco also represents design professionals and consulting engineers in professional liability claims.
Mr. de Flesco earned his B.S. in Accounting from Boston College. Following his undergraduate studies, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Tyco International.
Mr. de Flesco graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, he received several honors and distinctions, including: Dean’s List (four semesters); Outstanding Merit Scholarship; Daniel Murray Scholarship; Dean’s Certificate of Achievement in Legal Research and Writing, International Finance, and Mindful Ethics; Honors in Litigation Skills Pretrial and Trial Classes; and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Award for Excellence in Litigation Skills. He was an Associate Editor of the Inter-American Law Review as well as a member of the trial team.
After law school, Mr. de Flesco served as a judicial fellow for the Honorable Cecilia M. Altonaga, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Florida. Thereafter, and before joining our firm, Mr. de Flesco practiced general and commercial litigation. He also second-chaired a federal jury trial.
