Biography
Steve is currently a Technical Director in the Technical Services Group for Liberty Mutual Insurance Risk Control Services. His role aligns Commercial Insurance expertise and supports safety initiatives for schools, municipalities, hospitality, retail and service industries. He has been involved in risk management since September 2007. Prior to that time Steve was in the Claims Department for Indiana Insurance Company (a member company of Liberty Mutual) for over 25 years in various roles including adjuster, supervisor, litigation specialist, assistant claims manager, claims trainer and claims analyst. Steve’s experience also included working in the corporate claims office for Indiana Insurance for 7 years over liability and workers compensation.
Steve has taught the Associate in Claims Program (AIC) of the AICPCU for Liberty Mutual employees for over 5 years. Since 2009 he has also been an instructor for the National Alliance’s Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) program and has taught these courses in over 13 states.
