Apurva Vakani

Biography

Apurva Vakani, Manager, joined C&F in March of 2016 as Manager of the Professional Risk Claims department.  He most recently worked at Chubb & Son where he supervised a claims team that handled a portfolio of complex specialty claims.  Prior to Chubb, Apurva worked overseas for Beazley, Specialty Lines, London as a claims operation manager assigned to the US and UK claims teams specializing in E&O, D&O and EPL claims.  Apurva began his career at AIG where he held a variety of management positions during his ten year tenure with the company, culminating in a promotion to Vice President of the Error & Omissions department where he managed a group of claims analysts and a portfolio of E&O claims for financial institutions.  Apurva received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Union College, his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
