Biography

Carrie Von Hoff, Assistant Vice President & Claims Counsel Manager, leads a team of attorneys responsible for providing coverage advice and managing complex coverage litigation involving Zurich, specializing in latent and environmental, international, liability and TPA managed claims. Prior to serving in this role, she served as coverage counsel in the Zurich Claims Legal group, specializing in construction defect, international, and TPA managed claims. She previously handled large environmental claims at Zurich. Before joining Zurich in 2012, Carrie practiced law in law firms in Chicago, Illinois, providing advice to insurance companies and representing them in coverage litigation.

Carrie is a graduate of Northwestern University (BA) and Vanderbilt University Law School (JD) and is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Illinois. She has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) designations and is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and a fellow of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).
