Biography

Mike Bramhall is a Senior Structural Engineer and licensed Structural Engineer in seven states, a licensed Professional Engineer in eleven states and a LEED® Accredited Professional. He has over 25 years of structural engineering, consulting, and forensic engineering experience and holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture; both earned from the University of Washington.
 
As an item writer and grader for professional engineering structural exams, Mr. Bramhall is uniquely qualified to provide expert opinions on a broad range of engineering topics. He has extensive experience in designing, analyzing and evaluating all major building types, framing systems and construction materials such as concrete, masonry, steel, aluminum, wood, and fiber wrap applications.
 
Mr. Bramhall’s professional experience includes the structural analysis and design of building and non-building structures, seismic evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures, field investigations and conditional assessments, as well as the design of repairs for structural and foundation failures, peer reviews and value engineering. Notable highlights in the Northwest include the lead structural engineer on many of the buildings on the Microsoft main campus and the striking Central Terminal at SeaTac Airport.
