Biography
Collin is a Director of Litigation Management & Associate General Counsel at Markel Service, Incorporated. In this role he oversees insurance bad faith/extra-contractual lawsuits across the U.S. filed against Markel’s insurance companies. He advises approximately 125 examiners and their managers on a variety of insurance and litigation issues concerning liability cases, cyberinsurance and declaratory judgment actions. He also is tasked with overseeing all e-discovery issues for Markel's claims department.
Part of his insurance practice also involves reviewing insurance policies and programs in order to advise underwriters on types of language best used in insurance contracts. Collin is the former chair of the insurance coverage practice groups at his prior law firms. He currently serves on the board of editors for Cybersecurity Law & Strategy Newsletter.
Collin is a graduate of Boston College and Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
