Biography

Ray Manna is a Director with Kroll’s Cyber Security and Investigations practice, based in the Secaucus office. Ray is a highly accomplished computer forensics expert, who prior to joining Kroll led the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Philadelphia Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory (RCFL), capping a distinguished 20-year career with the FBI. In his role as Supervisory Special Agent and Director of the RCFL, Ray managed the forensic processing of all types of digital evidence for many hundreds of requests annually. He was also the primary liaison with investigative personnel and prosecuting authorities in addition to having full responsibility for all operational and personnel management of the RCFL. Ray started his career with the FBI as a Special Agent based in the Philadelphia field office and was a very successful case agent working highly complex public corruption investigations.  He began transitioning to the RCFL as a Computer Forensics Examiner in 2006. In this role, he served as the subject matter expert in complex investigations concerning digital evidence, which included reporting findings and testifying in court proceedings as an expert witness. Ray joined the FBI after 10 years as a U.S. Army Officer, serving as a troop commander at various levels as well as in diverse staff positions, to include the Aide de Camp to the Commanding General and Commandant of the Military Police Corps.
