Carolina Klint

Biography

Carolina Klint was named CEO North West Region of Marsh Continental Europe in August 2017 and is responsible for Marsh’s operations in the Nordic countries, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and for driving client value by delivering Marsh’s world-class risk advisory and strategic services to the growing client base in the region. Carolina is a member of the Continental Europe Executive Committee. Before joining Marsh, Carolina held several senior positions with AIG, most recently as President of its U.S. South Zone, responsible for AIG’s Commercial Business in 11 states. Carolina has also held the position of Country General Manager of AIG in Sweden. Under Carolina’s leadership, AIG was named Insurance Company of the Year at the 2013 Insurance Awards held by R&F, Sweden’s leading insurance publication. Carolina speaks frequently about values-based leadership, empowerment for breakthrough results, and the importance of diversity as a keynote speaker, panelist, and guest lecturer. She has appeared on Swedish business weekly Veckans Affarers’ list as one of “The 125 Most Powerful Women in Business” for three consecutive years. In December 2013, she was named a Business Insurance Women to Watch honoree, and she is one of the co-authors of the book “Words of Wisdom from Women to Watch: Career Reflections from Leaders in the Commercial Insurance Industry” (Wiley 2016). Carolina is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and lives just north of the city with her husband and their young son.
