Biography
Romaney O’Malley is head of U.K. Regions and is driving AIG’s new industry strategy, responsible for all industrial sectors as well as the overall framework for the insurer’s industry approach. Romaney is a member of AIG’s European Executive Committee. Before this role, Romaney was the General Manager for AIG Belgium & Luxembourg. Prior to being GM, Romaney was the CFO for AIG in Africa and the Head of Capital Management for the MEA Region. Before joining AIG in 2010, Romaney worked with a number of financial services companies, primarily in London, including Swiss Re, GE Insurance Solutions and Aviva P.L.C. Romaney qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in Sydney and holds Bachelor degrees in commerce and economics from Australian National University.
