Richard White

Biography

Richard  is an Air Force brat who grew up in a number of places prior to his father’s retirement to Austin , Texas. He  graduated from the University of Texas Honors program and the University of Houston Law Center, and then started practicing with a maritime law firm. After a  couple of lateral moves, Richard started his own firm 24 years ago, where he has practiced since.
 
Richard began his practice with the London and Norwegian markets. He switched to the domestic market after getting married and starting his own firm, so that he could cut back on overseas travel. Richard’s practice now includes professional liability and marine insurance coverage and defense.
 
Richard and his wife Maggie  have   three boys . Largely due to Maggie’s efforts, all three seem pretty well adjusted.
 
Richard’s main hobby is epee fencing. He  attempts to compete with younger, fitter , and more skilled opponents , by using the wiles acquired  by law practice and life experience .
