Biography
Jeff leads the broking operations for RT’s Environmental and Construction Professional
Liability Practice. In addition, he assists in establishing the strategic direction and vision for the
practice. Jeff’s expertise includes construction-related professional liability insurance (including
contractors protective, owners protective and project professional liability for architects,
engineers and contractors programs), environmental insurance and risk management services
associated with each.
As a senior consultant construction specialist at Aon, Jeff served as the environmental and
professional liability resource for all construction-related business and assisted in the sales and
brokering of environmental and professional liability insurance programs for construction firms
on an international basis. Over his career, Jeff has assisted over 50% of the Engineering News
Record (ENR) Top 400 Construction firms with managing environmental and/or professional
liability. He has also been in the forefront of helping businesses address emerging concerns
such as indoor air quality, building information modeling (BIM) and sustainable design and
construction. He has conducted seminars on a variety of topics including professional risk for
the construction industry, integrated project delivery (IPD), environmental risk management,
indoor air quality and professional liability and environmental liability insurance products.
Jeff received IRMI’s prestigious Words of Wisdom (WOW) award. Based on attendee evaluations,
the award recognizes speakers who have stood out as being the very best in educating attendees.
Jeff serves as an active member on industry related committees and organizations including the
Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America, the Construction Financial Management
Association (CFMA) and the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI). He is an
Environmental Risk Management and Design Liability columnist for the Expert Commentary
on IRMI.com, which explores various issues on environmental and professional liability risk
management. Jeff has given numerous professional presentations for AGC, CFMA, IRMI,
Mechanical Contractors Association (MCA), Contractors Association of Eastern PA (CAEP),
Risk ProNet, and other industry events.
