Timothy Donnelly

Biography

Tim Donnelly manages Sompo International’s US Casualty - Construction claims team.  His team handles primary and excess casualty exposures related to the construction industry across the United States. He has significant experience both handling and managing claims under owner-controlled and contractor-controlled insurance programs.  In addition to managing claim handlers, Tim provides support to Sompo’s underwriting teams on construction specific exposures. 
 
Prior to joining Sompo, Tim was a Complex Director handling complex construction defect claims for another insurance carrier.  Tim began his career as an attorney handling errors and omissions claims against insurance brokers and providing coverage advice to insurance carriers.  Tim received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Fordham University.
