Biography
Karl E. Sorenson is General Counsel for Lusardi Construction Company, headquartered in San Marcos, California. Mr. Sorenson handles insurance issues and claims, contract negotiation, risk management, labor and employment, and supervises litigation for Lusardi, a commercial general contractor that performs construction services nationwide. Previously, Mr. Sorenson was a partner with Lincoln, Gustafson & Cercos, where his practice included insurance coverage, construction law, construction defect litigation, premises liability, business litigation, employment law and personal injury matters. He has argued before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Sorenson is admitted to practice in California and Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona for undergraduate study in Political Science and received his J.D. from the University of Denver in 1990.
