Biography
Thomas directly handles extra contractual claims and complex coverage litigation in multiple lines of business. Thomas joined EMC as Claims Legal Counsel in 2018. Prior to joining EMC, Thomas practiced law in Denver, Colorado, most recently as a partner at Foran Glennon, PC. His private practice focused on the defense of bad faith claims and coverage matters involving both first-party and third-party coverages. In addition, his litigation background includes liability defense in a diverse set of practice areas and the prosecution and defense of numerous appeals in the Colorado and federal appellate courts. Thomas earned his B.A. degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997 and his J.D. degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2005.
