Biography
Amanda Shrewsbury is a Senior Claims Specialist at Markel. She is responsible for handling complex cyber and privacy liability claims.
Prior to joining Markel in December 2021, Amanda worked as a Claims Attorney at Berkley Environmental (a W. R. Berkley company) where she was responsible for handling Pollution, Professional Liability and Cyber claims.
Amanda holds the following designations: Certified Claims Professional (CCP) and Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP). In 2020, she was nominated by CLM as a ‘Professional of the Year’. She is a graduate of Fordham Law School where she earned a Master of Laws subsequent to obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (J.D. equivalent) from Unilasalle University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is licensed to practice law in New York and Brazil and holds adjuster licenses in multiple states.
