Michael Scholl

Biography

Michael J. Scholl, ACAS, MAAA currently serves as both President of General Indemnity Group LLC, a subsidiary of Boston Omaha Corporation (NASDAQ: “BOMN”) and President of United Casualty and Surety Insurance Company, an AM Best “A-“ specialty insurance carrier. Since 1992, Michael has held various positions as an actuary and in management at several different insurance firms. Prior roles include Senior Vice President for Allied Public Risk, a provider of customized insurance products for public entity pools, cities, counties, schools and special service districts, Chief Operating Officer for American Public Risk, and Vice President of Business and Product Development at the Argonaut Group.  

Michael is a credentialed actuary, and holds both a B.S. in Statistics, and a B.A. in Business (Economics) from the University of Miami and an M.S. in Statistics from Purdue University. He also is founder and President of the Board of Directors of Wellesley Theatre Project, a nonprofit Children’s Theatre outside Boston, MA.
