Biography

Thomas Parco is a licensed professional architect with a bachelor’s in architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.  His design and construction experience includes architectural design, project management, preliminary building design, construction specifications preparation, building consultants coordination, construction administration and support, and construction documentation.  His forensics experience includes property condition assessments, construction defect analysis representing subcontractors and developers, premises liability assessments (including trip/slip/falls at pedestrian walkways and bathtub slip/falls), swimming pool accident analysis, ADA analysis, building code analysis, and expert testimonies.
He has been an active member of the American Institute of Architects since 2000, has been registered with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards since 1991, is an accredited professional with The U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), an ASTM voting member of the F13 committee on Pedestrian/Walkway Safety and Footwear, an ASTM F2948 Walkway Auditor,  a certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) with the California Parks & Recreation Society, a certified XL Tribometrist (CXLT), and a member of the National Swimming Pool Foundation.  He is has been a past lecturer/presenter for topics including roofing, construction defects, ADA, Sustainable Design & Construction, and trip/slip/falls.
