Biography
Janelle Winford is the Assistant Vice President and Claims Manager of the Great American Insurance company’s Agribusiness Division based out of Cincinnati, OH. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati. She has secured the Associate in claims designation as well as the AFIS (Agribusiness Farm Insurance Specialist) and is currently pursuing the CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation. Janelle is a member of the We Lead (Women Excel) organization provided by the Cincinnati USA regional Chamber of Commerce.
Great American Insurance Company ‘s Farm Property and Casualty Division has been insuring Farming and Ranching operation for over 100 years. The Agribusiness Division prides itself with being staffed by experts in the farm underwriting, claims and policyholder services. Janelle manages a team of 9 adjusters who handle both Property and Casualty exposures for risk throughout the country. Janelle has been with Great American for her entire claims Career which has spanned 23 years. She believes that professional Claims handling and Customer service are the hallmark of her team’s continued success in the industry.
