Steven Allen

Biography

Steve is the Vice President and Airlines Claims Manager responsible for the direct handling of claims and litigation involving domestic and international air carriers. Steve is also a member of the AIG Aerospace Emergency Response Team, focusing on Legal and Expert Retention. Steve obtained his undergraduate degree from Baylor University, his MBA from the University of New Mexico and his JD from Southern Methodist University. He is a licensed attorney in Texas, New Mexico, South Carolina, and D.C. He has ten years experience as outside counsel with a major international law firm and as associate general counsel with an aircraft manufacturer. His career includes representation of air carriers, aviation product manufacturers, aerospace defense firms, airports, cargo operators, FBOs, and aircraft owners and pilots. In addition to his legal experience, Steve has an extensive aviation background as a U.S. Air Force pilot flying the Northrop T-38 and AT-38 aircraft; prior to entering his legal practice specializing in aviation and aerospace matters.
