Rob joined Liberty Mutual in 1997 coming from Crawford & Company, where he spent four
years working on large commercial auto and general liability claims. Over the past 29 years, Rob
has managed a variety of claims nationwide from traditional auto/general liability claims to
design contractors’ professional liability to environmental claims. He has been called upon for
his expertise with claims in various venues, including adjuster training as well as sales.
He spent time working on a New York Labor Law initiative to improve the claims environment
for both workers compensation and liability claims. This project led to improved efficiencies in
claim reporting as well as investigation designed to help mitigate costs involved in these typically
high dollar claims. As part of the project, he worked with a team responding to NY Insurance
Commissioner’s 308 inquiry into the effects of NY Labor Law on insurance customers.
During his tenure Rob has served in several leadership roles, most recently, managing one of the
Construction BI Complex Claims Teams, responsible for handling construction-related general
liability and auto claims, as well as design contractors’ professional liability claims for
construction customers nationwide. He has developed a culture of high performance and quality
work.
