Biography

“J. Kenneth Garcia AIC SCLA AIS possesses 40 years of industry experience and expertise in Casualty, Property, Reinsurance, Marine, Professional Liability and other lines. With 30 years of management and senior level management experience in claims management, design and implementation of claims processing systems and managing domestic and international claims operations, Ken’s background is well rounded.
Presently, Ken is the Director of Professional Liability Claims for Markel Corporation. Ken manages a team of 35 Claims Associates handling all Professional Liability loss activity nationwide involving Medical Malpractice, Architects and Engineers, Management Liability, Miscellaneous Professional inclusive of Lawyers E & O, EPLI, Not for Profit D & O and For Profit D & O, Cyber Liability, Tenant Discrimination, Environmental Contractors and other lines. Prior work experience has been with American International Underwriters, General Reinsurance/General Star Management Company, CNA International and ACE USA. The positions held ranged from Regional Litigation Manager, with AIU, to Senior Vice President of Claims, with CNA International.”
