Allyson C. Spacht is an associate who advises foreign and domestic insurance carriers on a variety of complex disputes involving commercial general liability. Allyson is also a contributor to BatesCarey’s Opioid Coverage Task Force, which is dedicated to monitoring and analyzing lawsuits filed by state and local governments nationwide against pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and retail pharmacies in order to assess insurance coverage issues and the risk exposure of BatesCarey’s clients and the insurance industry at large.
Allyson also has experience representing corporate clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Her experience has included product liability and tort litigation, antitrust defense, contract disputes, and deceptive trade practice disputes. Allyson also has experience conducting investigations, counseling clients, and defending lawsuits for health care and pharmaceutical clients on a variety of issues, including the anti-kickback statue, pricing rules, and the False Claims Act.
Allyson previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Philip P. Simon in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
