Biography

Michelle Greene leads Y(Our) Workers' Compensation Department at North American Risk Services, where she is dedicated to cultivating a team that actively challenges the status quo. Her team's approach to handling workers' compensation claims combines a human-centered experience with pragmatic and critical thinking, balancing real-world feasibility with thoughtful, analytical examination. This people-powered philosophy is focused not only on delivering impactful solutions for injured workers and clients but also on enhancing employee satisfaction. Michelle believes they are the third party administrator (TPA)  for their employees and customers, creating a workplace that values compassion and service across all levels.

With over 20 years of experience, Michelle brings deep expertise in building and managing high-performing workers' compensation programs. Her background includes extensive experience with a national carrier, claims and loss control, and various insurance leadership roles with a regional carrier. While with the regional carrier, she served on the Commercial Market Strategic Committee and Risk Management Working Group, which was instrumental in developing a new division within the company.

Throughout her career, Michelle has been a driving force for change. She has managed complex, multi-jurisdictional workers' compensation claims for clients of all sizes, led staffing and organizational restructuring efforts, and overseen initiatives to improve the customer experience. Her expertise includes developing and implementing nurse triage programs, advocacy, and training in workers' compensation laws, return-to-work strategies, and loss control programs.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology and a master's in Business Administration focusing on applied leadership. Her core values—compassion, humility, and service—are evident in her work. She believes collaborative partnerships, grounded in a shared philosophy, are essential to success in the industry.
