Cassidy Starkey

Biography

Cassidy is Senior Vice President and Director of Claims for Lockton in the Northeast.  He works out of Lockton’s Blue Bell, PA office. In this position, he provides strategic guidance to develop best in class claim management programs pre-loss and advocates for coverage and positive claim outcomes for his clients’ complex and impactful claims.  Cassidy manages a team of 12 consultants who impact clients similarly.  
Cassidy leverages his deep legal and claim management expertise to develop strategy and action plans for claims that sync with clients’ business interests and positively impact their bottom line. His experience includes working in various capacities for CNA and for several (regional and global) insurance brokerage firms. He also practiced for several years with the prestigious law firm Ballard Spahr, LLP, where he handled various legal matters for manufacturers, financial institutions, investment managers, mutual funds, public utilities and universities. In 2004, the firm recognized him with their Pro-Bono Award for his work assisting disadvantaged clients.
Cassidy is an active supporter of Temple University’s Risk Management Program and in 2014 was honored with its Norman Baglini Outstanding Young Alumni Award in Risk Management and Insurance. Cassidy is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He joined Lockton in 2017.
