Biography

Tony Scisciani is a Partner at Holt Woods & Scisciani LLP.  Tony is a full-service civil attorney who focuses on the resolution of complex, civil matters throughout both Washington and Oregon.  Tony takes a hands-on, creative and appropriately aggressive approach to achieving his clients’ goals.  Tony regularly helps clients with a variety of issues arising out of the ownership, development and/or sale of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties.  For over 15 years, Tony has been successfully litigating, arbitrating, mediating and trying disputes involving:  construction defect; worksite injury; product defect; professional liability; liens, nonpayment and delay; environmental liability under the Model Toxics Cleanup Act (MTCA); truck, automobile, motorcycle and bicycle accidents; fire loss; and insurance coverage.

Tony is the Firm’s Hiring Partner and leads the Firm’s talent acquisition efforts.  Prior to joining HWS, Tony assisted with the prosecution of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault charges as a Deputy Prosecutor in King County, Washington.  As a civil attorney, Tony has been recognized five times as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine.  He served as the 2009-2010 Chairperson of the WDTL Construction Section.  Tony often is invited to speak at national and regional seminars on a variety of topics including construction law, legislative updates, trial strategy, dispute resolution, litigation, risk allocation and civil procedure.

Tony received his B.A. from the University of Richmond (Richmond, Virginia) and his J.D. (with Honors) from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (Cleveland, Ohio).
