Biography
With over 20 years of increasing responsibilities in the risk and insurance field, Alonzo brings a wealth of experience to the field of risk and insurance management. Alonzo leads in Risk Management strategies in the government public sector in his role as Risk Management and Liability Manager with the City of North Las Vegas. Previously, he held various positions in the private sector including entertainment/hospitality, transportation and a national insurance carrier for over 14 years.
Alonzo has been a contibuting leading member of CLM for over 10 years and actively serves on several committtees. He also serves on the Board of Directors with the Nevada RIMS Chapter and is active within his community volunteering with special projects and engagements with his local church and other non-profit organizations.
Alonzo has a MBA from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, BS in Organization Management from Central Michigan University and Management Certificate through James Madison University. He holds designations as Certified Risk Management Professional (RMIS-CRMP) through Risk and Insurance Management Society and an Associate in Safety and Health Management (ASHM) through Institute for Safety and Health Management.
