Biography
Utah’s CityWeekly magazine dubbed Tanner Lenart the “Utah Liquor Lawyer” in their cover story on her work as an attorney helping bars, restaurants, resorts, nonprofits, and anyone else with issues relating to the rules and regulations behind selling alcohol to the public. Her work also involves advising manufacturers of spirits, wine and beer on the federal and state liquor laws; counseling on alcohol advertising; tied-house issues; violation problems; and working with lobbyists on drafting proposed changes to liquor laws in Utah.
Tanner began work at Christensen & Jensen in 2013. Prior to going to law school, Tanner worked as a bartender in Oxford, England and Wanaka, New Zealand, with stints as a ski instructor in Big Sky, Montana and attending graduate school in Paris, France. Tanner holds her private pilot’s license and lives in Salt Lake City with her husband and daughter.
