Biography
Matt started his career handing workers compensation claims for Travelers in Reading, PA in 1997.
Matt held roles with increasing responsibility with various TPA’s and carriers including Team Leader, Claims Supervisor and Claims Manager. Matt worked as a Claims Services Manager as well as an Account Manager for PMA Mgt. Corp., selling and servicing TPA accounts that consisted of claims handling, medical cost containment and risk control services. He specialized in municipal, healthcare and manufacturing businesses.
For the last five and a half years, Matt has been the Director of Claims at BerkleyNet, a monoline workers compensation carrier, and an operating unit of WR Berkley. Matt is also an arbitrator for auto and BI claims, certified via Arb Forums. Matt oversees several claim units, the litigation program, defense counsel and litigation specialists, as well as the TPA business and SUI program across 40 states. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kutztown University. He hold several licenses and designations in the insurance field including the AIC,ARM, and the WCCA.
