Biography
Alan Parker is Counsel and Vice President of Claims with Special Claims Services, Inc. The company offers claims consulting, claims analysis, data management, and litigation management for complex, high volume claims.
As a civil litigator, Alan's practice included intellectual property, medical negligence, personal injury, professional liability, employment discrimination and breach of contract disputes. Several of his cases have been included among the most significant defense verdicts in their respective years by the ABA Journal or the National Law Journal. Alan also advises clients on intellectual property, management and protection strategies and internet and web-based commerce issues.
Alan frequently lectures and writes on trial practice, medical negligence and risk management, and the use of technology in civil litigation. He is also active in national and local professional organizations, especially those focusing on legal issues involving the internet and technology. Alan has organized and moderated seminars on civil litigation, trial tactics, electronic discovery, and technology issues for private industry and for continuing legal and professional education programs.
