Biography

Martha is an insurance professional and Illinois licensed attorney with over 26 years of experience in Claims and Corporate Legal. Her past experience includes managing extra-contractual litigation and coverage for QBE on a Nationwide basis, handling litigated claims and coverage for Country Financial and Claims for State Farm as well as trial experience with Nally Haasis Jordan and Bauer. She authored Lexis Nexis  -Chapter 18 of New Appleman on Insurance, Law Library Edition entitled Duty to Indemnify – Bodily Injury and Property Damage which was cited by the Wisconsin Supreme Court in Schinner v Gundrum, 349 Wis.2nd 529 ( June 2013). She has been a guest speaker for the Defense Research Institute, Alpha International and CLM. She is a past vice-president of the Champaign County Bar Association and past President of the East-Central Illinois Women Attorneys Association.
