Daniel Aronowitz is an owner and the lead executive of Euclid Specialty Managers, a professional liability underwriting company. Euclid Specialty is best known as an expert insurance market for fiduciary liability, crime, and cyber liability insurance for multiemployer, governmental and single-employer employee benefit plans. Prior to founding Euclid Specialty, he was the president of a national insurance company, and a professional liability insurance lawyer as a partner at the national law firm Shaw Pittman. Dan is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Vanderbilt University School of Law, and has achieved the designation of RPLU+ from Professional Liability Underwriting Society. He is a nationally recognized expert on fiduciary liability and insurance for employee benefit plans. He is the author of Euclid’s Fiduciary Liability Insurance Handbook. He also authored the fiduciary liability insurance chapter of the Trustee Handbook published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, is a co-author of the PLUS RPLU curriculum on fiduciary liability insurance, and is a frequently requested speaker on fiduciary liability and other insurance topics. He is very active in his church and local community as a Vienna Little League Coach and Cub Scout Den leader, and raises money by hosting various community activities for World Vision and hunger alleviation ministries. He is an avid tennis player and long-distance runner, having participated in two recent Boston Marathons. He lives in Vienna, Virginia with his wife and two young children.
