Biography

Ramaswamy (Rama) Venkateshwaran is the CTO and a co-founder of Infinilytics, Inc. Rama is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the Infinilytics product offering, including securing the cloud environment, Charlee™ Software Architecture, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. He is responsible for the technology and product roadmap of Infinilytics. Working closely with the Infinilytics Innovation Team, he is instrumental in building the Insurance Industry's first ever Pre-Trained Insurance Insights Engine with over 40,000 pre-built insights.

Prior to joining Infinilytics, Rama worked at Qualcomm for almost 20 years. At Qualcomm, Rama led various strategic initiatives including Machine Learning Enabled Connectivity Manager, Wi-Fi Calling Enhancements and Operator Wi-Fi. He played a leadership role in driving the future of Wi-Fi as chair and active participant in various Wi-Fi Alliance Task Groups. Rama successfully led the Wi-Fi industry’s first joint trial on Optimized Wi-Fi Connectivity for Operator Wi-Fi, involving a team of Qualcomm, KDDI, Samsung and Ruckus Wireless engineers.

Rama holds a BTech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and an MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park. He holds over 9 US and International patents.

Outside of work, Rama enjoys doing yoga, teaching math to young kids and hiking out in the woods with his family whenever he finds time.
