Biography
Barry Gerstein is the Senior Vice President, Environmental Claims, for Aspen Insurance. Barry joined Aspen in July 2016 to lead its environmental claims department. Barry has over 23 years of experience in handling environmental claims for insurers. Most recently, Barry led the environmental claims department at Allied World Assurance Company. Barry was hired by Allied World in 2010 to create its environmental claims department. Prior to Allied World, Barry created the environmental claims department at Quanta U.S. Holdings, and has also held management positions at Risk Enterprise Management and AIG. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Barry practiced law at a leading New Jersey law firm. Barry graduated Rutgers College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law.
