Jeannine Cardner

Biography

I am a graduate of California State University, Long Beach and just celebrated my 30 year anniversary with Liberty Mutual.  I started my claims career handling Auto and General Liability claims for mid-sized and large commercial accounts.  During my career I've amassed experience in a number of claims teams including Trucking, Construction, Hotels, Retail, Employers Liability and Complex Litigation.  I found my real "home" in Construction Defect where I honed my knowledge in GL Coverage, Construction and Mass Torts.  I have developed and conducted in-office, practical coverage training for newer adjusters, drafting Coverage Position Letters and Risk Transfer.  I also assisted in the development of construction-related training for Underwriters.  In addition, I have been currently serving as a mentor with the Liberty Mutual Amigos ERT, and administer the Construction Defect Mentorship program through which adjusters have been promoted and successful in our Construction Defect Unit.  My pride comes in the ability to take complex, theoretical issues and break them down to make them easier to understand and practical for everyday claims handling. 

At present I manage a Construction Defect team.  I'm happy to serve as a facilitor with CLM.
