Caitlin McPhillips

Biography

Caitlin is a Senior Claims Professional at Berkley Construction Solutions. Caitlin joined BCS in 2023. Prior to BCS, Caitlin was a Senior Complex Claims Specialist at Vela Insurance Services. Prior to entering the claims world, Caitlin was an associate attorney at Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman.  In addition to her responsibilities at BCS, Caitlin has become involved with professional organizations. Caitlin is involved with the CLM Construction Leadership Board. Caitlin also joined together with other NYC based CLM fellows and members to revive the CLM NYC Chapter, which had become inactive during the pandemic. Caitlin serves as the Secretary of the CLM NYC Chapter and has enjoyed planning activities for local members and fellows. Caitlin is also involved with RISE. Caitlin serves as the social media liaison of the RISE Innovation Committee and is also a member of the Strategic Planning Board. Caitlin was awarded a RISE 35 Under 35 award in 2022. Caitlin is earned a Bachelor’s degree from State University of New York, College at Geneseo and a Juris Doctorate from University at Buffalo Law School.
