Biography
As Vice President of Claims for Berkley Program Specialists, Mike Gilmartin is tasked with delivering excellent claims resolutions. He is currently responsible for technical oversight and management of claims on several programs involving various industries including trucking/transportation, commercial auto and equine/farm liability. Mike is a licensed attorney who specialized in the defense of aviation, construction and premises liability cases when he was in private practice. He has over 29 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Berkley in 2014, Mike spent 9 years with the excess casualty claims unit of an international insurer and over 2 years as director of the excess trucking claims team for a transportation insurance carrier.
