Michael Sekkas

Biography

Michael Sekkas is a zealous advocate experienced in defending professional liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, premises liability, and personal injury and tort matters. He has experience in representing insurers in coverage issues and advising domestic and international insurers on first-party property, commercial general liability, construction defect, and professional errors and omission claims. He has successfully litigated a wide variety of first-party and third-party insurance cases, including the interpretation of policy provisions and exclusions.

Michael received his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was a Member of the Mock Trial Honor Society. He was awarded the American Jurisprudence award for Advanced Mock Trial and received the award for Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy upon graduation. Michael has served as a Mock Trial Coach for the Quinnipiac University School of Law Mock Trial Honor Society. He has been selected to Connecticut Super Lawyers Rising Stars in the areas of Personal Injury - General: Defense and Civil Litigation: Defense. The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. Rising Stars is a designation of top-rated practicing attorneys selected through extensive evaluation.
