Biography

Christopher G. Fusco, born Glen Cove, New York; admitted to federal and state bars New York and New Jersey (1992). Education: The Catholic University of America (B.A. 1989); The Catholic University of America (J.D. 1992). Member: Bar Association of the City of New York. Reported Cases: Rubino v. Fisher Reese W.P. Cty. 2000). Mr. Fusco was admitted as a partner to the firm on June 1, 2000. In September 2000, Mr. Fusco was appointed to the Construction Law Committee for the Bar Association of the City of New York. In addition, Mr. Fusco is a member of the Conference of Freight Counsel and the New Jersey Motor Trucking Association. Mr. Fusco’s practice concentrates on the defense of the firm’s clients in toxic tort, commercial, construction, insurance, transportation, general liability and high-profile tort litigation.

In the summer of 1992, Mr. Fusco was a legal intern with the Kings County District Attorneys Office in Brooklyn, New York. During January to April 1992, he was a legal intern with the Hon. Arthur Burnett, Sr. in the Superior Court, Washington, D.C.During 1992 through 1996, Mr. Fusco was an Assistant District Attorney with the Kings County District Attorneys Office in Brooklyn, New York. As a Senior Trial Attorney, he was responsible for managing serious felony cases. He completed over thirty felony trials including cases involving murder, armed robbery and undercover investigations. He was assigned high-profile cases with special victims. Mr. Fusco also drafted and argued People's Appeals before the Appellate Division.

From December, 1996 to September, 1998, Mr. Fusco was an associate in the New York City firm of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker where he specialized in complex construction, commercial, labor, insurance coverage, professional liability, employment, civil rights and personal injury litigation in both federal and state courts. Mr. Fusco completed jury trials involving negligence and construction cases. Mr. Fusco was also responsible for handling corporate and construction-related contractual and lien law disputes.

From September 1998 to October 2001, Mr. Fusco was a partner in the firm of Wright & Fusco, LLC where he successfully defended mass toxic tort actions filed against major chemical and asbestos manufacturers. In addition, Mr. Fusco was responsible managing the firm’s insurance defense clients.

Mr. Fusco is the Legal Analyst for The Madison Square Garden Network and also a frequent guest legal analyst for Court TV, MSNBC, and Fox News Channel.
