Biography
Michelle Grimaldi recently joined TransRe/Fair American Insurance and Reinsurance Company as a Senior Claims Examiner in the New York office where her focus is Directors & Officers Liability for both public and private companies. Prior to that, she was Vice President of the Professional Liability Claims Group at Sedgwick where she managed a team that handled a number of professional liability claims, including Directors & Officers Liability, Lawyers Professional Liability, Architects & Engineers, Accountants Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Cyber Liability, among others. Michelle comes with years of professional liability claims handling experience with a major insurance carrier and third-party administrators. Michelle also has years of civil litigation experience as she was a lawyer at two large New York City law firms for several years. Michelle earned her B.S. from St. John’s University and her J.D. from New York Law School. She is admitted to the New York State Bar as well as the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Michelle also has several claims adjusting licenses.
