Biography

Brian R. Masterson,  admitted to State of NJ Bar (2007), State of NY Bar (2008) and is a member of the American Bar Association. Brian has also been admitted to practice in Federal Court (Southern District of New York). Education: The State University of New York at Oswego (B.A. 2003); the University at Buffalo Law School (J.D. 2007).While in law school, Mr. Masterson interned for the Schoharie County District Attorney’s Office where he gained trial experience and drafted appellate briefs (People v. Kearney, 24 A.D.3d 1105 (2005);  People v. Yellen, 30 A.D.3d 634 (2006)).  Mr. Masterson was also a member of the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal where he served as the Executive Editor of the Sports and Entertainment Law division.  Mr. Masterson also worked for Callahan & Fusco, LLC, as a law clerk.Following law school, Mr. Masterson became associated with the firm in 2007, and specializes in constitutional law and civil rights litigation, insurance coverage and defense, personal injury, and construction law.Mr. Masterson is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. As part of his involvement with these groups, Mr. Masterson serves on the Commercial Litigation Committee of the Defense Research Institute and the Committee on Association Insurance Programs of the New York Bar Association.
