Ursula began her career in the supply chain management industry when she joined Kenco in 2012. She currently serves as the company’s Claims Manager, handling all accidents/incidents including workers’ compensation, auto, property and general liability claims. In addition, she is the administrator and main point of contact for Kenco’s Risk Management information system, Origami.
Prior to coming on board with Kenco, Ursula enjoyed a 20-year tenure with Olan Mills, Inc. (later purchased by Lifetouch) where she first found her passion for claims after a job transfer landed her in the Risk Management department. After joining Kenco, Ursula continued to manage the remaining insurance claims for the Olan Mills family until closure/resolution in October 2018.
Ursula holds a B.A. in Marketing from the University of North Alabama and in 2006 earned the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation. She is an active member of Risk Management Society (RMIS), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Mid-South Workers Compensation Association (MSWCA) and CLM and regularly attends continuing education courses, conferences, and workshops to stay up to date with the latest in industry best practices.
