Jonathan Velto

Biography

Jonathan Velto currently serves as Vice President with HUB International Northeast’s Claims Department. Based out of Wall, NJ, Jonathan serves as an advocate for HUB’s high profile international and national clients through an extensive, broad range of claims services, including but not limited to: proactive claim management, carrier negotiations, claim reviews, coverage disputes, litigation strategy, developing special account handling instructions, organizing customized loss reporting claim procedures, preparing catastrophe alert plans, TPA reviews, etc. Jonathan also serves as HUB Northeast’s Head of Complex Claims, and consistently contributes to the New Business team by educating prospects/clients on all the capabilities and value added services the Claims Department provides.
Holding over 18 years of insurance experience, Jonathan began his insurance career with AIG in 2005 and has held various positions on both the carrier and broker side of the business. Prior to joining HUB in 2015, he most recently served as Claims Supervisor with Owens Group Insurance in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Quinnipiac University. He is a licensed Property & Casualty insurance broker as well as attained his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
