Annette LaBarre

Biography

Annette LaBarre is the Vice President and Director of Workers’ Compensation at MSIG North America. Annette has over 30 years’ experience in workers’ compensation. In 2014 Annette joined the team at MSIG-NA where she has responsibility for the workers’ compensation line of business. During her time at MSIG Annette has established numerous programs which have streamlined processes, improved efficiencies and elevated the results of the department. Annette has contributed to white paper released communications involving statistical analysis of managed care in workers’ compensation and a recent publication of “Containing Costs through Care Delivery.” Annette is a strong advocate for opioid reduction within the community as well as the workers’ compensation space. She has developed a strategic drug diversion program to address this issue effectively reducing the number of opioid scripts filled by over 67% consistently over the last several years. Before joining MSIG Annette has held a variety of claim and management positions with Royal & SunAlliance, Harleysville Insurance and Nationwide. Annette began her career in claims which established her foundation before moving on to account, managed care and claims leadership roles. Annette resides in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. She is a wife and mother to four grown children who are off blazing their own career paths. Outside of her professional life you can always find Annette with her family, her pets or doing her best to get out and exercise!
